LUNCH

THE ØRESUND PLATE
Nyhavns Færgekro’s herring specialties.    Cured salmon with dill marinade.  
Shrimps with homemade mayonnaise, dill and lemon. Roastbeef with horseradish, remoulade and roasted onions.  
Danish cheese with seasonal compote.  
Served with two types of bread and butter.  
DKK 240 per person.

OPEN SANDWICHES - TWO PIECES
Two pieces of traditional Danish open sandwiches. Chef’s choice.  
DKK 200 per person.

LUNCH

NYHAVNS FÆRGEKRO’S SMALL LUNCH
Curry herring.  
Eggs and hand-peeled shrimps.
Pan-fried plaice with dill mayonnaise and hand-peeled shrimps.  
Dill marinated salmon with spicy honey sauce.
Meatballs with potato salad.
Roastbeef with remoulade, pickles and roasted onions.  

Served with organic farmers bread, ryebread & butter

Coffee & Cake

Try our delicious homemade chocolate cake, made with high quality, Belgian chocolate, served with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel.

Please note: The chosen menu must be the same for all guests. Naturally, we are flexible regarding allergies and dietary restrictions. 

Aperitif & Canapé
1 glass of Cava Rosé and 2 canapées
Price per person 135 kr. 
Replace Cava Rosé with Montvillers Champagne for only DKK 10 more per person.
Buy extra canapé for only DKK 25 per piece.

2-course evening menu:

HERRING PLATE  
Three herring specialties – served with rye bread and  butter.    

WARM TARTLETS
Warm tartlets filled with chicken and white asparagus.  

SHRIMP COCKTAIL
Shrimp, lettuce and asparagus served with a creamy dressing, bread and butter.  

POTATO & LEEK SOUP  
Creamy potato and leek soup with toasted bread and a sauté of leeks and chives.

MAIN courses

FRIED PORK
Fried belly of free-range pork served with potatoes and parsley sauce.  

BUTTER-FRIED PLAICE  
Butter-fried plaice served with potatoes and parsley sauce.  

WARM TARTLETS
Warm tartlets filled with fried mushrooms in a creamy sauce and parsley.    

OXEFILET  
Oxefilet served with provencal sauce, bacon-wrapped beans and French fries.  

DESSERT & CHEESES

TRADITIONAL DANISH TRIFLI
Traditional Danish trifle with seasonal berries or fruits, lightly whipped cream and crunch.  

NYHAVNS FÆRGEKRO’S RUM PUDDING    Rum pudding with candied hazelnut flakes, chocolate and rum. Served with hot cherry sauce.  

CHOCOLATE CAKE  
Homemade chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.

Three types of cheese, served with seasonal garnish.
